THE POWER OF TWO

Two is the symbol that best depicts the spirit of Coria.

Two chef owners, Domenico Colonnetta and Francesco Patti, side by side since 2008 in a restaurant project that has acquired a distinctive presence over the years, achieving the prestigious accolade of a Michelin Star in 2012.

Two cities that have been home to the restaurant – first Caltagirone and now Catania – the vital backdrop to a personal and professional experience deeply rooted in the heart of Sicily.

Two sources of inspiration – tradition and terroir – for the two chefs, who make their living with their two hands, transforming the raw ingredients with the skill of a craftsman and the vision of an artist.

Two directions in which the research of Colonnetta and Patti stretches: the custodianship of the Sicilian gastronomic tradition, and its reinvention. The two chefs have taken it upon themselves to rediscover and preserve this precious inheritance, just as Colonel Giuseppe Coria did with his famous book Profumi di Sicilia.

It is to him that the restaurant owes its name, and why the number 2 also contains a C, the perfect synthesis of the Coria philosophy.
